Muslim Day At The Capitol (MDAC) 2022

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We would like you to join hundreds of Minnesotans at this year’s Muslim Day At The Capitol. We are coming together to discuss challenges facing our communities and steps we can take with our legislature. In November, we will cast our ballots and vote for the representatives that we believe have the best in mind for our community and its future.
But the only way that we hold our representatives accountable is by speaking up and making our voices heard. As part of the Muslim community, we can work towards a better future for our community by discussing issues we hold important with those in power.
In these uncertain times, it is our role as Muslims to strive to lead with courage and resilience and to represent the interests of our community in light of the current issues in our community. Inshallah, join us at this year’s Virtual Muslim Day at the Capitol.
The 18th Muslim Day at the Capitol (MDAC) is on Thursday, March 10th, 2022, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM CT
Event Outline
1. All attendees are invited to the virtual rally at 6:30 PM
2. Faith agenda grounding is held at 7:20 PM.
3. Attendees divide into small groups to meet with their legislators about our faith agenda. We are making appointments on behalf of attendees as of now. Please check with your group leaders on your district appointments
You can help convey the concerns and needs of the Muslim community to our legislators.
